Pulled, rolled, or pinched, handles are an important part of any mug.This class will focus on the utility and aesthetics of handles and vessels to create thoughtful mugs.In this three-week special topics class, students can expect to create mugs either on the wheel or with handbuilding techniques and complimentary handles.The third week is reserved for glazing.Experience with clay is recommended; ages 16+.
Basic clay tools are provided (you are welcome to bring your own). Cost of clay includes glazing and firing cost and can be purchased separately (25lbs/bag). Please bring your own apron.
