Summer A: Wednesday Evening 4-wk Clay Class

Wednesdays 6:15 - 8:15pm

Instructor: Shasta Krueger

June 4, 11, 18, 25

This 4-week clay class will cover a variety clay making skills! Students will learn methods of forming clay from wheel throwing skills (centering, pulling and forming) to handbuilding techniques (pinch, slab, coil, carving) as well as wedging, managing clay, and glazing. Direction and progression of class will adapt to student interests and needs; students may focus on sculpture or pottery forms. All skill levels welcome; ages 16+.

Basic clay tools are provided (you are welcome to bring your own). Cost of clay includes glazing and firing cost and can be purchased separately (25lbs/bag). Please bring your own apron.
